We are going to see a desperate Burnley team in this match, as their time is running out to catch up to the teams ahead of them in the table. I don’t think that will necessarily translate to a victory for Burnley, but I do think that they will put forth a spirited effort in front of their home crowd and make life tough on Brentford for the most part on Saturday.
As far as my best bet for this match is concerned, that would be under 2.5 goals. Even with Burnley leaving it all on the pitch, their attacking has simply been lackluster this season, barely averaging one goal per game through 27 matches. They might get on the board in this match, but I can’t see them doing so more than once and this match should end on one or two goals regardless of who claims the points.
