There are five main tabs at the bottom of the screen:
- Sportsbook: This is basically the homepage. You’ll see all the most popular sporting events for that day. And there’s even a “Browse” icon in the top-left corner where you can search for leagues, teams, players, etc., and pull up a full list of sports that BetRivers has betting markets for.
- Promotions: Shows you all the active promotions you can claim right now (odds boosts, second chance bets, and more).
- Rewards: This is where you’ll find a full breakdown of how BetRivers loyalty points work (along with a link to the Bonus Store).
- Support: Takes you to live chat support. You’ll start with a chatbot, but you can be transferred to a real agent if needed.
- My Bets: Lets you view all your open bets and settled wagers. You can also cash out certain bets early if the option is available.

Then, in terms of performance, I’d say the BetRivers sports betting app has worked great for me. I haven’t had any major issues with the app lagging, crashing, or glitching on me.
My only minor complaint is the pop-up ads I get for their ongoing promotions every time I log in. But honestly, I can see the value in promoting them to users, so it’s hard to complain too much about that.

You can find everything that’s available to watch under the “Stream” section of the Sportsbook tab. It’s split into a few different sections, like “Stream Now” and “Stream Later” (which let you see what’s currently live and what’s coming up).
Most of the streaming options are from niche sports or international leagues, though. You’ll see a good amount of soccer, basketball (including leagues like the EuroLeague), tennis, table tennis, cricket, and hockey.

If you prefer building your own, BetRivers has a dedicated “SGP” section within every game. In an NFL matchup, for example, you can combine moneylines, spreads, totals, touchdown scorers, passing props, rushing props, receiving props, quarter and half props, and several other markets into one single wager.
You’ll also see “Pre-Packs” for many games. These work a lot like Quick Picks and are basically just another set of pre-made SGP options you can look through and use if you want.
Live Betting
Like most online sports betting apps, BetRivers lets you bet on games right as they’re happening.
You can find all the events currently in progress by going to the “Live” section. From there, just pick the game you’re interested in. Most matchups will have a gamecast that shows what’s happening play by play.
And in some cases, you’ll even have an option to live stream the event (like we talked about in the last section).
Usually, BetRivers Sportsbook offers plenty of in-play betting options too: updated point spreads, totals, moneylines, player props, quarter and half props, and a few other markets depending on the sport and the situation.
Odds Pricing
One thing I wanted to point out real quick is the odds at BetRivers Sportsbook. From what I’ve seen, they’re a little worse than what you might get at some other platforms.
Most legal online sports betting apps take around a 4.76% vig on standard bets (the usual -110 vs -110 on both sides of a spread or total). At BetRivers, it’s often a bit higher.
During my BetRivers review, I saw a lot of -113 vs -110 and -112 vs -112, which puts the juice closer to the 5.43%-5.66% range. That might not seem like a huge difference, but it can add up over time, especially if you’re betting regularly.
Casino Games
The BetRivers Sportsbook app also lets you place bets for real money on slots, blackjack, roulette, video poker, and many other online casino games… but only if you happen to be located in a state where:

As you can see, the email address and phone number are different for each state. The email always follows the pattern (Two-letter state abbreviation) + support@betrivers.com. For example, it’s NYsupport@betrivers.com in New York.
For phone numbers, I think the easiest thing to do is go to the BetRivers website, choose your state, and go to the Help Center. You’ll see the number listed there.
The Help Center also has a lot of self-help articles on topics like account registration, deposits, withdrawals, geolocation, promotions, and loyalty rewards. If your question is pretty generic, you might find the answer there faster without actually needing to contact support.
My Experience With BetRivers Live Chat Support
But anyway, during my BetRivers app review, I tried out the live chat support option.
You’re connected with a chatbot first, which can answer some basic questions and provide general info about the platform. But if you have a more specific question/problem, you’ll need to tap the “Transfer to Agent” option when you see it.
After I did that, I waited about 10–15 minutes before a real person joined the chat. The agent was friendly and helpful once they were there, so no complaints on that part.
The only downside is the short wait time, which I’d imagine gets even longer during peak betting hours (like the NFL Sunday afternoon window, for example).
