The biggest factor is the starting pitching matchup. Misiorowski has allowed very little hard contact and has overwhelmed hitters with elite velocity and strikeout ability. Painter, meanwhile, has struggled with command and has allowed plenty of traffic on the bases. Against a Brewers lineup featuring William Contreras, Christian Yelich, Jackson Chourio, and Jake Bauers, that is a difficult recipe for Painter to overcome.
