I can’t stress enough how important Kevin Durant’s health will be in determining the outcome of this game. The Rockets have virtually no playoff experience outside of Durant’s and that was on full display in Game 1. I would advise bettors to wait until Durant’s status is confirmed before locking in any action on this contest.
With news reports indicating that Durant is likely to play, I lean toward the Rockets to win and cover the spread as a favorite. But until it is confirmed that Durant will participate in this contest, I don’t recommend placing any bets, as KD sitting out would change things dramatically for Houston once again.
