In the NBA this season, there are several divisions set to be incredibly competitive. With multiple championship contenders residing in most divisions, there are no shortage of options to choose from when betting on most of the six divisions in the NBA. Here, we look at the NBA divisional odds for this season.
Atlantic Division Odds

The Atlantic Division is a competitive one this season, with the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics among the teams with the best chances to finish in first place. Boston is the favorite at this stage of the season, pulling ahead of the Knicks despite not having Jayson Tatum on the floor for most of this season due to the Achilles injury he suffered last postseason. But Tatum made his return to the floor in March and that might help the Celtics lock down the Atlantic Division’s top spot no matter how the Knicks play down the stretch.
Central Division Odds
Odds for this division are off the board for the 2025-26 season.
The Cleveland Cavaliers won the Central Division last season, but it is the Detroit Pistons that have run away with the division this season. Cade Cunningham has led a Pistons roster that is much improved from a season ago. Detroit looks like a legitimate Eastern Conference championship contender after clinching the Central Division championship. But the Cavaliers will try to get back at the Pistons in the playoffs despite Cleveland falling short in the race for the Central.

The NBA’s Southeast Division is the most competitive in the NBA this season, which might not necessarily be a good thing. There isn’t a truly gifted team in this division so far this year. The Atlanta Hawks have made some major improvements in the aftermath of the Trae Young trade. And the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic are solid, yet unspectacular teams. The Charlotte Hornets deserve a ton of recognition, though, as they have caught fire since the start of the new year and finally appear to have a positive outlook for the future as a franchise.
Pacific Division Odds
Odds for this division are off the board for the 2025-26 season.
The NBA’s Pacific Division has been hard to predict over the last few years, with different teams winning it on a regular basis. This year, the Los Angeles Lakers have claimed the top spot in the division, clinching the division behind a red-hot second half of the season. Once the Lakers got healthy, they blew past their competition, thanks in large part to the play of Luka Doncic, who will be key to the Lakers’ hopes of making a deep postseason run.
Northwest Division Odds
Odds for this division are off the board for the 2025-26 season.
The Northwest Division of the NBA was won by the Oklahoma City Thunder last season for the second year in a row. They went on to win the NBA Finals in seven games and have proven that no level of competition scares them. The Thunder have clinched the Northwest Division again this season, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander a heavy favorite to win a second straight NBA MVP award. The Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves are also massively talented teams from this division, but OKC is the champion of this division.
Southwest Division Odds
Odds for this division are off the board for the 2025-26 season.
The Southwest Division has gone the way of the San Antonio Spurs this year. The youth movement in San Antonio has been led by players like Stephon Castle and Victor Wembanyama. They have outplayed Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets, along with every other team in this division. As long as Wemby stays healthy, the Spurs have a great chance to win the Western Conference along with the Southwest Division. But Houston is another team that could win the West out of this division in the postseason.
